Former Vice president of Nigeria and 2019 elections presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar goes head to head with the All Progressive Congress for tagging him with Ray Hushpuppi.
Yekini Nabena had earlier called on the Anti-graft agencies to unveil the misery behind the bond between the former vice president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and the EX Senate President, Bukola Saraki.
However, the state made by the APC spokesman did not go well with the PDP stalwarts. Following the statement made by Mr. Nabena, the media adviser to the former VP, Paul Ibe, gave a swift response to the MR Nabena, he mentioned that Atiku had no link with the suspected criminal stated it was just a mere photo.
“We would advise the APC and Mr. Nabena to be very mindful of such senseless statements in the future especially as the case under reference is a subject of litigation in another country,” the statement read.
“Had they been more sensitive, they would have come to terms with the reality that the case is a national embarrassment – not something to cheer about for any political blackmail.”
